What we won't do for our pets?

I am fortunate that my senior dog is still with me. She is about 16 or 17 years old. Brandi is a Britney Spaniel mix. Her hearing and her vision are not so good. We work around that, normally we take her out separately from the other dogs. We don't want her to get bumped or jostled as her balance is not so good. Truth is her back legs give out on her sometimes and it is very sad to see.

She still gets around fairly well. The trickiest part with her right now is eating. She doesn't want to eat as much and no longer wants the traditional dog food. So we tried cans of wet food, it worked for a short time. We tried a little sauce on her food, again she liked it for awhile. Next we tried different types of shredded cheese, then other types of wet food. The pattern is she likes it for awhile and then not at all . Currently, I don't want to jinx myself but she is loving rotisserie chicken on her dry food. We never know what will make her happy, but we are certainly willing to

try anything.
